Since businesses of all sizes from manufacturers to wholesalers to nonprofits are using blogs to promote their products, services, you need to try and attract your fair share of Internet traffic to compete. While there are dozens of ways to market blogs, here are some popular ways that can help bring visitors your way.
1. Daily Do’s – Do something with your blog daily. Add some news, discuss an upcoming event, include some digital photos, write a basic industry post, add a text blurb with a link, maybe even an affiliate promo with an image, description and link. But do something there and keep your content fresh.
2. Invite Subscribers – Blogs are still relatively new. So remind people that they can sign up and do this regularly. For example, add an arrow to entries, pointing to the “Subscribe” box. - > Get Free Help! Daily Tips: mm4-166627@autocontactor.com

Also set up an autoresponder with a daily message that points to the blog and insert the new blurb of the day into the message. And then add your autoresponder email sign up info to your signature files and use in emails, forum posts and other marketing,like this:

3. Ezine Spot – Give your blog an ad spot to point readers in the right direction. Here’s an example:

Note: Go a step further to share instructions on how to add the RSS feed to their “My Yahoo” page or other setup in text and with an audio / video tutorial.
4. RSS –Submit the RSS feeds of your blog to RSS search engines. Check search engines; many are out there like:

Discover a little known technique that will power up your profits like crazy by saving wads of wasted cash!
5. Advertise & Market - Send out a press release to announce your blog, and follow up with one a month for newsworthy activities there (like host a fundraiser or special holiday promotion).
6. Add your blog link to your other sites, business cards, brochures and other marketing devices. Print some stickers to keep handy and to update older materials. Imprinted magnets, pens, notepads, pencils and other promotional advertising tools would be great, too. See which items fit into your budget.
By mixing in just one activity a day to promote your blog, you can help point more visitors in your direction. Plenty of Internet visitors per day can translate into plenty of prospects, subscribers and eventual shoppers, a super ROI (return on investment) of all your hard work!
