Private Label Membership Tips Paul Kleinmeulman, PLR Expert
Private label membership sites are fun and full of awesome ‘Members Only’ items. You get not only neat, new products to claim as your own, you also get exciting new coordinating promotional materials to use with them. To help you get the most out of your private label membership program, here are some tips from members of private label rights (PLR) sites.
Information Overload
1. Read through everything in your site to make sure you understand your rights. For example, you may not be allowed to give items away, load ‘all’ of them into the same membership site that you are running, sell them on eBay – or anywhere – in ‘as is’ condition. So make sure to get the facts straight and submit a support ticket with your membership site if you need help.
2. Review on a regular basis any and all helpful instructions that came with your private label membership subscription. Many membership managers offer a variety of text, audio and video tutorials plus guides and articles to help you learn how to best package your products, brand them and insert money-making content like affiliate links and ads. Some also include helpful lead-generating tips and strategies that work best for their targeted niches. If you want more information, don’t be afraid to ask for resources.
3. Get a mentor or coach or someone to help guide & / or work with you. People who have already earned success with the membership, may have helpful tips about what works and what doesn’t, so you can skip over some mistakes and leap ahead.
4. Be accountable by setting realistic goals and monitoring your progress and ROI (return on investment). Check with others in the industry through forums, chat rooms and social networking sites like MySpace to do a little research to see what type of goals to set.
5. As you begin generating revenue, outsource as your budget allows so that you can accomplish more and enjoy some time off. Head to online bidding sites like Elance to post your project work like setting up your websites and loading your content or ghostwriting more articles for you to use with your marketing and product revision efforts.
6. Keep up with the times and with technology on the Internet. Multi-media is growing in popularity, and some private label membership sites are adding audio and video clips to their monthly packages. Learn how to handle the files and put them to use online and off, selling electronic downloads and CDs / DVDs.
7. Revise your private label content and set up an affiliate program to sell it via affiliate marketers. Give them plenty of marketing materials: banners, ad spots, classified / ezine ads, some autoresponder series and articles to revise a little and submit to directories – all with their affiliate links in them. Send your affiliates a monthly newsletter with contests and other news about the affiliate program you have going.
So put these tips to use. And crank up yours sales a notch!
