Every add you see on the television or internet claiming that thousands of dollars can be made "working from home", are complete pieces of crap, simply trying to separate you from your money. Can money be made while working out of your home? Of course it can, just not in the way all of these advertisements claim. The entire "make money by doing next to nothing" crowd are the ones that I'm taking umbrage with. As a matter of fact, there are a lot of these people writing many of the articles that you read.

The entire idea of a "home based business" is a joke. Who the heck cares where the business is conducted out of? That's all "home based business means. It means that you have a business that you perform out of your home, rather than an office. And just because you want to perform your business out of your home doesn't mean that you're going to get some sort of magic genie that will grant you thousands of dollars a month. The entire idea of a home based business is simply ludicrous. Which, by the way, is what all of these weasels prey on. The fact that you're looking for a magic genie in a bottle labeled "home based business".

I actually heard a couple of these weasels claim once that they (and their little helpers) would do all the work for you and all you had to do was funnel prospects to them and they would handle the rest. If something like this were true, why wouldn't everyone and their brother be doing it? My point is that if it were this simple and easy, everyone and their brother would be doing it! These people are complete weasels who prey on people who are looking for that magic genie mentioned earlier, which obviously doesn't exist.

The bottom line is that if you want to make money and make that money working from home, good for you, just don't buy into all of the crap. The only way that you can be successful is by following your passion. If you follow your passion, the money will follow. We all tend to think about money and making money backwards. That is, give me the money, then I'll do this or that. That's not how making money works. Follow your passion and the money will follow. Do you think Tiger Woods plays golf for the money? Do you think he has ever played golf for the money? No, he plays golf because that's what he feels he was put on this earth to do (he's correct by the way). Follow your passion and you will receive the money. Just don't listen to all of these weasels, no good ever comes from that!
